You can browse lost and found items without an account. However, to report items or contact other users,
you'll need to create a free account. This helps us maintain a safe and trustworthy community.
Lost Items
How do I report a lost item?
Click on "I Lost Something" on the homepage, fill in the details about your lost item including description,
location, and upload photos if available. The more details you provide, the better chance of recovery.
How long do lost item posts stay active?
Lost item posts remain active indefinitely until you mark them as found or delete them.
We recommend updating or removing your post once your item is recovered.
Can I offer a reward?
Yes, you can mention a reward in your item description. However, all reward arrangements are between users directly.
Mafkod does not handle any financial transactions.
Found Items
I found an item. What should I do?
Click "I Found Something" and create a report with details about the item. Include photos and location information.
Our system will help match your found item with lost item reports.
How do I verify the owner?
Ask the claimant to provide specific details about the item that weren't included in your post.
This could include serial numbers, unique marks, or contents. Only hand over items when you're confident of ownership.
Where should I meet to return items?
Always meet in public, well-lit places like coffee shops, police stations, or shopping centers.
Never share your home address or meet in private locations. Safety first!
